Copper prices rise on expectations of increased demand

The cost of copper on Thursday morning increases on the prospects for growth in demand for commodities in their largest importer - China, according to trading data and analyst comments.
According to Prime, as of now, May futures for copper on the Comex exchange has risen in price by 0.77% to $4.7353 per pound (about 0.45 kilograms).
On the London Metal Exchange (LME), on Wednesday, the cost of a ton of copper with delivery in three months decreased by 0.42%, to $10,299, aluminum - by 0.95%, to $3,236, zinc rose by 1.95%, to 4461.5 dollars.
