Croatian PM praises Azerbaijan’s contribution to energy security

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković praised Azerbaijan’s role in Europe’s energy security, noting that it is a key energy partner of his country.

Speaking at the EU–Western Balkans Summit in Tivat, he said energy routes, particularly those within the Middle Corridor, are essential for ensuring the security of energy supplies across the European Union, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

According to him, Azerbaijan, along with other South Caucasus countries and Central Asian states, has an important role in this sector.

He further noted that Croatia’s cooperation in energy with both the Caucasus and Central Asia is steadily expanding and developing.
