Defence chief: No regional process can proceed without Türkiye’s involvement PHOTO
Türkiye is no longer the former Türkiye as it has become the subject of its personal and identity politics on the international stage under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The remarks were voiced by Turkish Minister Hulusi Akar at a meeting with schoolchildren in Kayseri, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Turkish National Defence Ministry's Twitter page.

"No process can take place in the Balkans, the Caucasus, the Middle East and the Black Sea without Türkiye’s participation. Our successes in defence, security, diplomacy, and economy allow us to pursue this policy. We will continue our activities in order to achieve even greater success," Akar noted.
The minister spoke about the recent work: "Some people criticise the TCG Anadolu landing craft, the national Togg car. This is the wrong approach. We will continue our work. We have produced the ATAK-1 helicopter and have started work on the ATAK-3. Each new version is better than the previous one. We have to produce our own weapons and technology.”
