Digitalization concept of Middle Corridor under development

The Secretary General of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route Association, Gaidar Abdikerimov, has said that the concept of digitalization of the route is being developed.

"The issue of digitalization of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route Association (Middle Corridor) is of vital importance. If we do not implement this practice, we can lose competitiveness. That is why we are elaborating in a number of areas. Negotiations are underway with international companies regarding digitalization," Abdikerimov told Report.

In his opinion, the Middle Corridor is creating platforms for container transportation. "Our main goal for the next year is to utilize digital platforms, thereby ensuring the creation of an ecosystem."

The secretary-general underlined the necessity of integration of various platforms of the countries through which the Middle Corridor passes: "This is important in terms of simplified data transfer,” he added.
