Economic Council, Supervisory Board of Azerbaijani Investment Holding hold meeting
The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers has said that another meeting of the Economic Council and the Supervisory Council of the Azerbaijani Investment Holding was held.
The current situation and prospects in the country’s oil and gas production, including long-term plans for the development of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and the country’s oil and gas sector as a whole, forecasts for future production, the implementation process of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery reconstruction and modernisation project, additional work necessary for the implementation of the project and other current issues, were discussed at a joint meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ali Asadov, the Cabinet of Ministers told Trend.
A report by SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and a speech by CEO of Azerbaijan Investment Holding Ruslan Alikhanov were heard at the meeting.
Following the meeting, appropriate instructions were given to the board of the investment holding and SOCAR, taking into account the proposals of the Council members on the discussed issues.
