Economic ties in focus at Azerbaijan-Alanya meeting
Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Anar Akhundov held talks with Eray Erdem, Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Alanya, to discuss expanding bilateral trade and investment cooperation.
According to the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, cited by Caliber.Az, the meeting highlighted the steady development of economic ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, as well as the significant potential for further expanding mutual trade and investment.
“During the meeting, the dynamic development of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey was emphasised, as well as the existing potential for expanding mutual trade and investment cooperation. The sides noted the importance of strengthening ties between business communities, promoting joint projects, and assessing investment opportunities for the socio-economic development of both countries,” the statement said.
The discussions also focused on prospects for deepening cooperation with the Chamber across several sectors, including industry, tourism, agriculture, and services.
