Elon Musk's company has reduced prices for satellite Internet from Starlink for Ukraine and a number of other countries.
In particular, for Ukrainian users, the discount was about 40%, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to The Verge.
That is, the subscription price was reduced from $100 to $60.
“Price cuts take into account your local market conditions and should reflect purchasing power parity among our customers,” the announcement reads.
Similar discounts are reported by users from the UK, Mexico and Germany.
At the same time, users in Chile and Brazil report price cuts of about 50%.
According to the publication, SpaceX and T-Mobile will hold a joint event at which Elon Musk will announce plans to "expand connectivity."
At the same time, it is not yet clear whether it has anything to do with the new prices.
