EU Commissioner Kos hails meeting with Azerbaijani leader as productive PHOTO

European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, who is currently visiting Azerbaijan, took to social network X to describe her meeting with President Ilham Aliyev as productive and open.

“Productive and open exchange with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku today. We discussed our relations with special emphasis on connectivity,” Caliber.Az quotes Kos as saying on X.

Kos also congratulated President Aliyev on achieving the initial peace agreement with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Washington.

“The EU supports lasting peace in the region and stands ready to engage,” the European commissioner added.
