Kyiv hails Azerbaijan’s role in Ukrainian children’s rehabilitation
Ukraine has expressed profound appreciation for Azerbaijan’s assistance in the rehabilitation of Ukrainian children affected by the ongoing conflict.
Yuriy Husyev, Ukraine’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, underscored the significance of the program being implemented, highlighting its importance both for Kyiv and for the children it serves, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
“We are deeply grateful to the President of Azerbaijan, the government, and the entire Azerbaijani people for their support in implementing this program and for aiding Ukraine during this challenging wartime period. These children will experience peaceful days in Azerbaijan and will carry with them a lasting memory of the care and kindness shown by the Azerbaijani people,” Husyev emphasized.
On the initiative of the Social Services Agency, another 30 Ukrainian children have been brought to Azerbaijan and will receive social and psychological rehabilitation services.
Within the framework of a 10-day social rehabilitation program, the children will be supported in stabilising their emotional state and adapting to society.
In previous periods, more than 260 Ukrainian children had already been brought to Azerbaijan and received social and psychological rehabilitation services.
