Azerbaijan, Serbia conduct tactical artillery exercises with live firing VIDEO
Artillery units from Azerbaijan and Serbia have conducted joint tactical exercises as part of the bilateral military cooperation plan between the two countries’ Defence Ministries.
According to the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry, which shared the information with Caliber.Az, the exercises took place in Serbia and involved live-fire drills using self-propelled howitzers and multiple rocket launchers.
During the training sessions, Serbian NORA B-52 artillery systems were used to engage designated targets. The gunners demonstrated high accuracy, successfully completing all assigned tasks and hitting their targets precisely.
The main objectives of the exercise were to enhance the exchange of experience between the two armies, strengthen the command staff’s knowledge and operational skills, and improve the field and practical abilities of the personnel.
The drills also aimed to refine unit-level planning and coordination during combat operations.
