EU interested in Azerbaijan's development of Middle Corridor PHOTO

Terhi Hakalan, European Union Special Representative for Central Asia, met with Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.

As Caliber.Az informs, citing the CJSC press service, they discussed cooperation of Azerbaijani railways with the European Union, railway projects implemented in the region,

restoration of destroyed railway infrastructure in the territories liberated from years of Armenian occupation,

as well as the work of the "Middle Corridor" (Trans-Caspian international transport route - Middle Corridor) and its increasing importance for the European Union.
