Export and Investment Promotion Agency eyes to stimulate Azerbaijani wine export

Executive Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO) Yusif Abdullayev intends to implement several projects in 2024 to stimulate wine export.

“In particular, it is planned to promote Azerbaijani wine in the main export markets and in retail outlets. The projects will cover the markets of both Russia and other countries. Azerbaijani wine has also great export potential for the markets of Central and East Asia,” he noted, according to Report.

Abdullayev noted that currently, the biggest exporter of wine in the region is Georgia.

“In a few years, we will be able to compete with Georgia in these markets. The development of wine tourism is also very important,” he added.
