Finnish ambassador highlights commitment to green transition At Baku panel discussion
At a panel discussion as part of the Nordic Green Model initiative, Finnish Roving Ambassador for the South Caucasus Kirsti Narinen, emphasized her country's unwavering commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection.
Speaking in Baku, Narinen stated that 50 per cent of Finland's technology industry is dedicated to achieving green transition goals, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
During the event, the ambassador underscored that green transition is not merely a policy but a national interest for Finland, asserting that this commitment will endure regardless of political changes. "Environmental protection is a priority for us, and it is a national necessity," she asserted, reinforcing Finland's leadership role in sustainable practices.
The Nordic Green Model initiative aims to foster dialogue on sustainability and innovative solutions among Nordic countries and their partners, with a focus on practical strategies to address environmental challenges.
