Turkish foreign ministry honours Azerbaijani victims on Bloody January Tragedy

Türkiye has commemorated the victims of the January 20, 1990 tragedy in Azerbaijan, marking the 36th anniversary of the event remembered in Azerbaijani history as the Bloody January Tragedy.

“On January 20, 1990, we remember with respect and compassion our Azerbaijani brothers and sisters who sacrificed their lives for the independence of Azerbaijan,” the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, Caliber.Az reports.
