Azerbaijan extends condolences to Pakistan following deadly mall fire
Azerbaijan has expressed its deep sorrow over the tragic fire that tore through a shopping mall in Karachi, Pakistan, claiming at least 11 lives and leaving over 60 people missing.
In a statement released by its Foreign Ministry on X, Azerbaijan offered heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the people and government of Pakistan, Caliber.Az reports.
"We are deeply saddened by the tragic fire at a shopping mall in Karachi, Pakistan, which resulted in the loss of innocent lives and injuries. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and to the brotherly people and Government of Pakistan," the statement said.
The ministry also wished a swift recovery to the injured and expressed solidarity with Pakistan during.

The fire, which lasted for more than 24 hours, ravaged the multi-storey mall, which houses around 1,200 shops.
