Azerbaijan’s top military leaders attend DIMDEX 2026 in Qatar PHOTO

A delegation led by Colonel General Karim Valiyev, First Deputy Minister of DefenCe and Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, is visiting Qatar to participate in the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX) 2026.

The event, organized and hosted by the Qatar Armed Forces, runs from January 19 to 22, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Defence Ministry.

Following the official opening ceremony of DIMDEX 2026, a key platform for international cooperation and the exchange of expertise in maritime security and defence, Colonel General Valiyev, alongside official delegations from other countries, toured the exhibition pavilions and visited various booths.

The exhibition provides an opportunity for defence leaders to explore the latest developments in maritime security, foster collaboration, and strengthen ties between military forces worldwide.
