Fire damages homes after attack on residential area in Ukraine’s Sumy

An attack on the evening of January 25 caused a fire in a residential area of the Sumy community in northeastern Ukraine, damaging several homes, local authorities said.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the fire broke out on the grounds of a private household and spread to nearby buildings, damaging a total of six residential properties. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene and successfully extinguished all fires, Caliber.Az reports. 

Preliminary reports indicate that no casualties were recorded as a result of the incident.
