FM: Armenia, Azerbaijan fail to reach agreement on two important points
07 April 2024 09:31
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has said that Armenia and Azerbaijan have not signed a peace treaty yet.
“Armenia and Azerbaijan have not signed a peace treaty yet because the sides fail to reach agreement on two important points of the document,” Mirzoyan said in an interview with the Public TV Company of Armenia, Caliber.Az reports.
“I think that we have a historic opportunity to achieve lasting peace in the South Caucasus. Armenia remains committed to the peace agenda. We found a common ground on many issues. However, the sides fail to reach agreement on two important points. The first point is mutual recognition of territorial integrity. The second one is the opening of routes,” Mirzoyan said.
