Former president's ally accuses Yerevan of involvement in terrorism
Former First Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia, former deputy, member of the Supreme Council of Sargsyan's Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) party Artak Zakaryan stated that Armenia was involved in terrorist activities and, specifically, in the explosion on the Crimean bridge.
He stated this at a press conference on October 13, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Armenian media.
“This morning it also became known that Armenia, already participating in terrorist activities, is blowing up the Crimean bridge. That is, Armenia does not directly participate, it just turns out that an explosive cargo can be stored at the customs terminal of Armenia for four days, which they can formalize with legal documents and send to the territory of the Eurasian Trade Union. Now go and explain whether there is power in this country. Let them explain whether the authorities of this country are Turks or whoever,” Zakarian said.
Recall that Russian law enforcement officers detained an Armenian citizen Artur Terjanyan, whom the Russian special services suspect of preparing an explosion on the Crimean bridge. According to the FSB, the explosive device was hidden in rolls with construction polyethylene film on 22 pallets in the back of a truck. In early August, the cargo was sent from the port of Odesa to the Bulgarian port of Ruse, then it was delivered to the Georgian port of Poti, and only then to Armenia. The truck was driven by Artur Terjanyan. In Armenia, the cargo passed customs clearance at the Alliance Terminal. According to Russian law enforcement officers, the documents of the cargo have already been forged and changed in Armenia.
