Four years of war: Von der Leyen lands in Kyiv to highlight EU backing
Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, arrived in Kyiv on February 24, marking the fourth anniversary of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
In a post on X, she noted that this is her 10th visit to Ukraine since the start of the Russia–Ukraine war, Caliber.Az reports.

Von der Leyen said she came on the fourth anniversary of the conflict to reaffirm Europe’s unwavering support for Ukraine—financially, through military assistance, especially during this harsh winter.
“To underscore our enduring commitment to Ukraine’s just fight. And to send a clear message to the Ukrainian people and to the aggressor alike: we will not relent until peace is restored,” she added.
