Gas cylinder blast ignites massive truck fire near Moscow VIDEO

A powerful explosion shook the Moscow-region town of Vidnoye after a truck caught fire and detonated, Russian outlet Mash reported on November 21.

Video from the scene shows the vehicle already engulfed in flames at the start of the recording, with a thick column of black smoke rising into the sky. Just seconds later, the truck explodes, sending metal debris flying in all directions.

According to Mash, the blast occurred when a gas cylinder inside a "Gazel" vehicle detonated. The fire then spread to a nearby large truck parked close to the burning vehicle.

Authorities confirmed that no one was injured in the incident.
