Gas prices in Europe rise by 3%

Exchange prices for gas in Europe are growing by three per cent, exceeding $1,250 per 1,000 cubic metres at auction on November 22.

The December futures on the biggest European Gas Hub TTF, located in the Netherlands, were traded at $1,255.6 per 1,000 cubic metres (+ two per cent), Prime reports citing the data from the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE).

Their cost is $1,269.4 (+3.1 per cent) as of 11:09 (GMT+1).

The dynamics of quotations is based on the settlement price of the previous trading day - $1,230.8 per 1,000 cubic metres.
