Gas prices rise in Europe

Exchange prices for gas in Europe at the beginning of trading on July 18 are growing by 3.6%, about $1,710 per thousand cubic meters, according to the London ICE exchange.
According to Prime, the upcoming August futures on the index of the Dutch TTF - one of the world's largest trading floors - opened the trading session with an increase of 4.2% against the July 16 settlement price ($1,649.9), at a mark just below $1,720.
Soon, quotes briefly rose to $1,752.8 (+6.2%). In the last minutes, prices slowed down to 3.6% and are now at $1,710 per thousand cubic meters.
