Georgia among Azerbaijan’s top ten trading partners in 2025
Azerbaijan conducted the majority of its trade in 2025 with Italy, reaching $11.86 billion, equivalent to 24% of its total trade turnover, according to data from the State Customs Committee.
Trade with Italy increased by 4.1% compared with 2024, Caliber.Az reports.
Türkiye ranked second, with a trade turnover of $5.72 billion (11.58% of the total), representing a 6.7% decrease from the previous year. Russia came third, with trade rising by 2.5% to $4.92 billion (9.96%).
The rest of the top ten trading partners were:

United States – $1.56 billion (down 11.2%)

Germany – $1.38 billion (down 14.1%)

United Kingdom – $1.14 billion (up 1.7 times)

Australia – $895 million (down 38.8%)

Georgia – $881 million (up 9.6%)
Overall, Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover increased by 3.8% in 2025 compared with 2024, reaching $49.42 billion.
Exports fell by 5.7% to $25.04 billion, while imports rose by 15.8% to $24.38 billion, resulting in a positive trade balance of $663 million, a decline of over eightfold.
