Georgia ready to contribute to peace process in South Caucasus - MoD

Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Chikovani has said that Georgia was ready to contribute to the process of establishing peace and stability in the South Caucasus.

He made the remarks at a meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev, Report informs.

The sides discussed the importance of strategic partnership and friendly relations between the two countries. The positive dynamics of high-level visits were noted.

The sides also discussed prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the defence sector. Attention was paid to joint participation in international exercises and cooperation in the field of military education.
