Hungary to strengthen statistical cooperation with Azerbaijan
Hungary has announced plans to deepen its cooperation with Azerbaijan in the statistical sector, highlighting the increasing significance of international partnerships among national statistical agencies.
Áron Kincses, President of Hungary’s Central Statistical Office, made this announcement on the sidelines of the 3rd CIS International Statistical Forum, held recently in Baku, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Kincses emphasized the forum’s value as an important platform for exchanging expertise and fostering professional networks.
“Hosting such a forum in Baku presents an excellent opportunity for Hungary to share expertise and establish connections not only with Azerbaijani colleagues but also with professionals from other CIS countries,” Kincses said.
He underscored the pressing need to broaden cooperation among statistical institutions worldwide and expressed confidence in the expertise and professionalism of Azerbaijan’s State Statistical Committee.
“Our office is open to cooperation and has already scheduled several meetings to facilitate the exchange of ideas. I am confident that we will engage in fruitful and mutually beneficial work,” Kincses added.
He also described the forum as a vital setting for addressing contemporary challenges in the field of statistics and for advancing innovative approaches and digital solutions. “Events like this strengthen professional ties and foster greater understanding between countries,” the Hungarian statistical chief concluded.
