Indonesia eyes investment, trade expansion with Azerbaijan
Indonesia has expressed interest in strengthening economic, trade, and investment cooperation with Azerbaijan, as the two countries explore new opportunities for business partnerships.
The issue was discussed during a meeting between Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), and Indonesian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Berlian Helmy, Caliber.Az reports, citing AZPROMO.
Abdullayev briefed the ambassador on AZPROMO’s activities, including measures aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and mechanisms designed to promote exports and attract investment.
Helmi, meanwhile, highlighted Indonesia’s interest in expanding economic, trade, and investment ties with Azerbaijan.
The sides exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation, products with export potential, and the possibility of organizing an economic forum in the future.
They also discussed potential partnership opportunities in construction, agriculture, tourism, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and beverage production.
