The exercises aim to assess the readiness of operational units, review security plans, and rehearse military response scenarios to potential security threats and military challenges in the strait.
Special focus is placed on Iran’s strategic position in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman regions.
According to the IRGC, the exercises centre on rapid and decisive responses to potential maritime incidents, including operations described by officials as “anti-terrorist” measures.
