IRENA to hold energy transition investment forum in Azerbaijan

The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) will host its annual investment forum on energy transition in Azerbaijan in June 2026, IRENA Director-General Francesco La Camera announced.

Speaking at a roundtable at ADA University marking International Clean Energy Day, La Camera highlighted plans to host the annual Central Asia energy transition investment forum in Azerbaijan, aiming to boost investment and support renewable energy projects, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

“Together with our partners, we will convene the annual investment forum on energy transition for Central Asia in Azerbaijan in June 2026. Through our flagship tools—investment and financial platforms—we aim to address the investment gap and advance impactful renewable energy projects,” he noted.
