Israeli company to use capabilities of Azerspace satellite in African region

The Israeli Spacecom company will use the capabilities of Azerspace satellites to expand the scope of service.

In particular, the company is implementing projects to render satellite services and mobile communication in the African region, Report informs citing the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Azercosmos) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

In this regard, an agreement on cooperation on joint implementation of long-term projects was signed between Azerspace and Spacecom satellite operator.

Spacecom, the operator of AMOS telecommunications satellites, is operating in the Middle East, Europe and North America. Spacecom will serve its customers using teleport services located at Azerspace Satellite Main Ground Control Centre.
