Karabakh Revival Fund reviews 2025 activities, approves next year budget

On December 24, the Supervisory Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund held a meeting to discuss key governance and strategic issues, including the Fund’s 2026 budget and management of its assets.

The meeting was chaired by Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and attended by members including Mukhtar Babayev, Presidential Representative on Climate Issues; Milli Majlis deputies Tural Ganjaliyev and Fatma Yildirim; Azerbaijan State University of Economics Rector Adalat Muradov; and People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Alim Gasimov, Caliber.Az reports via local media

The session began with a report on the Fund’s activities over the first 11 months of 2025. Executive Board Chairman Rahman Hajiyev outlined the projects implemented, results achieved, financial performance, and priorities for the upcoming period.

Key agenda items discussed included the establishment of an Audit Committee under the Supervisory Board, development of new Investment Rules for Fund asset management, and the appointment of an external financial auditor for 2025. The Board also reviewed and approved the Fund’s 2026 budget.

Members were additionally briefed on ongoing projects in green energy, agricultural parks, and industrial zone development that are currently under review by the Fund. Following deliberations, the Supervisory Board adopted decisions on the matters discussed.
