Kazakh low-cost airline launches Baku-Astana flights PHOTO
Kazakhstan's low-cost airline FlyArystan will make its first direct flight from Baku to Astana.
Deputy Director of Heydar Aliyev International Airport Elnur Zulfugarov said that four companies carry out passenger air transportation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, Report informs.
According to him, the opening of the new flight will contribute to the further development of economic, humanitarian, and, most importantly, tourist relations between the countries.
It was stressed that Kazakhstan's low-cost airline FlyArystan also performs a direct flight from Aktau to Baku. Tickets can be purchased through a mobile application or on the official website of the airline.
The plane departing from Baku will land at the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport in Astana. The duration of the flight will be 3 hours and 20 minutes.
Notably, FlyArystan, established in 2018, is Kazakhstan's first low-cost airline.
Relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan were established on August 30, 1992. The Kazakh embassy in Azerbaijan was opened on January 9, 1993, and the Azerbaijani embassy in Kazakhstan on March 1, 2004.
The two countries closely cooperate in various sectors of the economy. Around 160 companies with Kazakh capital operate in Azerbaijan in the industry, construction, trade, agriculture, transport, and services, and Azerbaijani companies are also represented in the Kazakh market.
