Kazakh minister visits Azerbaijan's Hovsan commercial seaport PHOTO
A delegation from Kazakhstan led by Minister of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Karabayev visited Baku's Hovsan International Sea Trade Port today.
The delegation included Aktau Marine Northern Terminal, Port Kuryk, SEMURG Invest, PTC Holding, Kaskor Transservis, Caspian offshore and marine construction, Kaspi Grain Way, Transkom, Capital industry, DAR rail, KTZ Express and many others, according to Report.
Alim Bayel, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Azerbaijan, accompanied the delegation at the event.
The guests were given a tour of the port territory, after which the delegation was escorted to the conference hall of the port's administrative building.
Port Director Rashad Dashdamirov presented the guests with information about the history, capacities and cargo turnover of the port. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of expanding cooperation, increasing cargo flows and solving existing problems. Among other things, they discussed the prospects for further cooperation within the framework of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route project.
