Korean companies keen to join Azerbaijani projects
Korean companies are interested in participating in projects implemented in Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and Korean Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Lee Eun Yong, discussed the development of diplomatic, trade and economic relations between the two countries in a meeting this week.
The Korean envoy also revealed Seoul’s interest in energy cooperation with Baku.
“The ambassador noted that Korean companies have high technological capabilities and great experience in the field of energy, including the use of renewable energy sources, and expressed their interest in participating in the projects being implemented in Azerbaijan,” the Energy Ministry of Azerbaijan said in a statement on April 26.
For his part, Minister Shahbazov recalled the meetings with the high-level delegations from Korea, which he said gave impetus to the development of bilateral relations, and created great opportunities for further cooperation in the energy sector.
