Kyrgyzstan eyes to apply Azerbaijan’s experience in food safety
Deputy Chairman of the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers Bakyt Torobayev has said that Kyrgyzstan intends to apply Azerbaijan’s experience in food safety.
Torobayev made these remarks at a meeting with the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency Goshgar Tahmazli, Report informs.
At the meeting, Tahmazli briefed his colleague on the work done to ensure food safety in Azerbaijan, as well as on the measures being implemented in this direction as part of cooperation with international organisations and foreign countries.
Torobayev said that Kyrgyzstan would like to learn from the unified system created for food safety in Azerbaijan, adding that Kyrgyzstan intends to create a similar system based on Azerbaijan’s experience.
The views on other issues of mutual interest were exchanged during the meeting.
A delegation headed by Torobayev visited the laboratories of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Institute in August 2022.
