Kyrgyzstan, Georgia deepen ties with series of new agreements PHOTO
Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze held an official meeting in Bishkek on June 12, where the two sides signed a series of agreements aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors, according to AKIpress.
The talks took place at the Intymak Ordo residence and concluded with the signing of memorandums and agreements covering aviation, state property management, veterinary services, education, sports and justice.
The sides also endorsed a cooperation programme between the foreign ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Georgia for 2027–2028, outlining future diplomatic engagement.
In addition, the parties signed an agreement establishing a framework for the preliminary exchange of information on goods and vehicles transported between the two countries, aimed at facilitating trade and logistics.
A separate memorandum was concluded between the relevant agencies on cooperation and information exchange in the areas of radiation protection, nuclear safety and security.
