Latvia ready to contribute to Karabakh’s reconstruction, says Parliament speaker

Speaker of the Latvian Parliament Daiga Mieriņa has said that there are many opportunities for deepening economic cooperation between Latvia and Azerbaijan.

During a press conference in Baku on May 20, the Speaker underlined that various possibilities for expanding economic cooperation between Latvia and Azerbaijan were discussed during her visit, Report informs.

"For example, we discussed concrete steps on how Latvia could participate in the reconstruction of the city of Shusha or otherwise help rebuild the region. We discussed potential cooperation in the fields of agriculture, logistics, tourism, exchange, education and culture," Mierina said.
