Uzbek president praises rapid reconstruction work in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region

Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has stated that large-scale construction work is progressing rapidly across Azerbaijan, especially in Karabakh, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, noting his country is ready to continue supporting this development.

During the Leaders’ Summit held as part of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Azerbaijan, he said entire residential areas have been restored in a short period of time in the liberated territories, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Mirziyoyev added that new residential complexes, modern facilities and infrastructure projects are being developed in the region.

“Taking this opportunity, I would like to emphasise that Uzbekistan is always ready to contribute to this noble cause,” he emphasised.
