Serbian president commends Baku’s urban tech transformation
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić has said that technological approaches can help address major urban challenges such as overpopulation, parking shortages, and transport congestion.
Vučić made the remarks during the Leaders’ Summit held on the margins of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
He noted that Baku serves as a strong example of the practical implementation of such technologies.
“We look at Baku with inspiration in terms of the introduction of electric buses and electric transport,” he said. “We look forward to future cooperation with the Azerbaijani state to advance our projects in this field.”
The Serbian president emphasized that smart solutions can play a key role in addressing the growing pressures faced by modern cities.
