Latvian president, Nizami Ganjavi International Centre members exchange views on projects

President of Latvia Egils Levits has met with members of the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre.

The views on the projects which are being implemented by the Centre, the process of preparing for the upcoming 10th Global Baku Forum, a high-level mission for humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and refugees from this country, and energy security were exchanged at a meeting with President Levits, the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre told Report.

A memorable gift dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Centre was presented to the Latvian president.

During the reception, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Latvia Elnur Sultanov presented a congratulatory letter and an honorary diploma from the Azerbaijani President to the ex-Latvian President and Co-chair of the Centre Vaira Vike-Freiberga.
