Made in Azerbaijan products showcased at China-Eurasia Expo PHOTO

Azerbaijan showcased products under the Made in Azerbaijan label at the 9th China-Eurasia Expo, held in Urumqi, the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China, from June 25 to 29, the country's Ministry of Economy has stated.

It said the country participated with a unified national pavilion, featuring Azerbaijan's economic and investment opportunities, transport and transit potential, along with products marketed under the Made in Azerbaijan brand, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Goods produced under the Made in Azerbaijan label were also displayed through the Azerbaijan Trade House operating in Beijing.

As part of the event, Azerbaijan's Trade Representative in China, Teymur Nadiroghlu, addressed the China (Shandong)–Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference.

During his presentation, he highlighted Azerbaijan's business-friendly environment, investment opportunities, incentives available to investors, the country's strategic role as a regional transport and logistics hub, and the prospects for expanding economic and trade cooperation between Azerbaijan and China.

First launched in 2011, the China-Eurasia Expo has become one of China's leading international platforms for economic and trade cooperation.

The event aims to promote trade, investment and industrial collaboration between Asian and European countries.

This year's expo attracted more than 2,000 companies and organisations representing 27 countries, regions, international organisations and all of China's provinces.
