Media: Turkish, Syrian leaders highly likely to meet in Russia

The probability of a meeting between Turkish and Syrian leaders Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Bashar al-Assad in Moscow is high.

The channel's sources, familiar with the ongoing diplomatic dialogue between Ankara and Damascus, note that Russia is now first on the list of likely venues for such a summit, Caliber.Az reports, citing Turkish TV channel A Haber.

A Haber also points out that there are now hopes for a productive dialogue between Türkiye and Syria in the context of normalizing relations, including the alleged softening of Assad's position on the need for high-level talks on the withdrawal of Turkish troops from Syria.
