Mexican Chamber of Deputies hosts inaugural Azerbaijan friendship meeting
The Chamber of Deputies of Mexico has hosted the inaugural meeting of the interparliamentary friendship group with Azerbaijan, marking a new stage in bilateral legislative engagement.
The establishment of the group is expected to inject fresh momentum into the development of interparliamentary relations and broader cooperation between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico.

“The creation of this group will provide a new impetus to the development of interparliamentary relations and cooperation between the two countries,” the statement said.
The session brought together members of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament) — Samad Seyidov, Jala Aliyeva, and Sevinj Fataliyeva — as well as Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Mexico, Seymur Fataliyev. Also in attendance were Dulce María Corina Villegas, chair of the Mexico–Azerbaijan Friendship Group in the Chamber of Deputies, fellow members of the Mexican Chamber of Deputies, and representatives of the diplomatic corps.
