Minister: Agroparks of Azerbaijan increase wheat production PHOTO

Azerbaijani agricultural parks have produced 88,800 tons of wheat since the beginning of 2022.

Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote about this on his Twitter page, according to Caliber.Az.

The minister’s publication says that since the beginning of the year, the country has produced 61 per cent more wheat than in 2021.

“Agricultural parks under the Azerbaijan Economic Zones Development Agency have significantly increased wheat production this year. In 2020, wheat production amounted to 35,000 tons, in 2021 this figure increased by 56 per cent - up to 55,000 tons and in January-September 2022 - by 61 per cent, up to 88.8 per cent.
