Missile strike on Ukraine's Dnipro by Russia leaves three dead, eight injured VIDEO / UPDATED
On the morning of December 1, Russia launched a missile at the city of Dnipro, resulting in multiple casualties, said Vladyslav Haivanenko, head of the regional military administration.
The missile struck a service station and nearby businesses, causing significant damage. Emergency response teams—including medical personnel, rescuers, law enforcement, and other services—are actively conducting rescue operations at the site, Caliber.Az reports.
As of 11:45 a.m., three people were confirmed dead, and preliminary reports indicate that eight others were injured. Authorities are still assessing the full extent of the damage and the consequences of the attack.
Haivanenko noted that prior to the strike at 10:10 a.m., the Air Force had issued a warning about potential ballistic missile launches from Taganrog, Russia.
The attack follows a series of recent Russian assaults on Ukrainian territory. On November 29, Russia carried out massive strikes on Kyiv and its surrounding region, killing two people and injuring one, while leaving the right bank of the capital without electricity. On November 30, Russian forces attacked Vyshhorod, causing fires in residential properties and a promotional facility, resulting in one death and one injury. The strike also involved the use of a cassette drone.
