MONEYVAL to assess anti-money laundering measures in Azerbaijan

An assessment mission of the Council of Europe’s Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism (MONEYVAL) will visit Azerbaijan from March 1 through 15, 2023.

The report was made at a meeting of the Coordinating Council, established upon the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers #404 on October 21, 2020 to prepare for the fifth round of evaluation work carried out by MONEYVAL in Azerbaijan, Report informs citing the Financial Monitoring Service.

During the meeting, the participants were informed about the process of implementation of the Action Plan of the Coordinating Council, approved on June 23, 2022. The members of the Council exchanged views on current issues on the agenda.
