Moody’s projects Azerbaijan’s GDP growth to reach 3% in 2026

International rating agency Moody’s has forecast that Azerbaijan’s GDP growth will accelerate to 3% in 2026.

According to Moody’s estimates, the country’s economy grew by 1.5% in 2025, while the agency expects growth to reach 2.5% in 2027. Based on these projections, Azerbaijan’s average annual GDP growth for 2026-2027 is expected to be 2.75%, Caliber.Az reports per local media. 

For comparison, Azerbaijan’s State Statistics Committee reported that the country’s economy expanded by 1.4% in 2025.
