Moscow accuses Europe of "reviving neo-Nazism" in world

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that Europe is involved in the "revival of neo-Nazism" in the world.

He made the remarks on the Russia-24 TV channel on November 27.

Thus, the diplomat called French President Emmanuel Macron’s words about why Ukraine should live according to the model "imposed" by Russia a telling statement.

"All the years that followed the coup d'état, he [Macron] did not ask the question why Russians in Ukraine should live according to the model imposed by neo-Nazis - an obvious double standard," Lavrov opined.

He noted that Macron, who wants to become the first politician in Europe, "unashamedly" utters such words.
