NASA, Boeing, Airbus reps to visit Azerbaijan
Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Space Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (Azercosmos) Samaddin Asadov has said that representatives of the world's biggest companies are considering the possibility of participating in the International Astronautical Congress, to be held in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku on October 2-6, 2023.
“More than 6,000 guests will take part in the event,” Asadov said in an interview with Report.
He noted that the congress entitled "Global Challenges and Opportunities: Let's Give Space a Chance" will bring together representatives of the leading space agencies, namely, NASA (US), CNES (France), Airbus, Boeing, JAXA (Japan), TUA (Türkiye) as well as other countries.
“The leaders and representatives of the agencies determining the world space agenda, as well as scholars and students are expected to participate in the congress. Of course, popular people in the space sector will also attend such event,” he added.
