New business entities receive resident status at Azerbaijan's Aghdam Industrial Park

Twelve business entities were granted residency status in Agdam Industrial Park in 2022.

The statement came from the board chairman of Azerbaijan’s Economic Zones Development Agency Elshad Nuriyev at the press conference covering the Agency’s activities in 2022, according to Oxu.Az.

Nuriyev noted that three entrepreneurs were granted non-residency status in the industrial park.

More than 66 million manats ($38.8 million) are expected to be invested in the Park by these residents and more than 800 jobs will be created, he said.

The chairman added that the first enterprises in the Aghdam Industrial Park are expected to start operating by late 2023.
